2nd Annual YMI Donut Ride

The YMI Donut Ride is a bicycle-focused event organized to benefit Youth Mentoring Initiative (YMI).
The purpose of the ride is to bring together bike enthusiasts and families for a fun morning of bike riding while allowing them to do something charitable for others through donations to the Youth Mentoring Initiative. YMI provides mentoring for students by building and sustaining a mentoring community with the highest level of service, integrity, encouragement and empathy. Most importantly, they strive to continue cultivating our community and investing in our youth.
YMI is a 501c3 organization that serves students by inviting caring adults from the community to connect with students and be a listening ear, someone who will not judge them, and help them see their full potential as they continue to receive their education.
Register and donate here or, On October 21st, registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. Participants will be required to complete a waiver. Donations are requested but not required to participate in the event. All donations (checks, cash, credit cards and text YMI to 41444 to donate) are tax deductible. The ride starts at 9:00 a.m. leaving from Jack’s Donuts at 13578 East 131st Street in Fishers. There are three courses that take riders to donut shops in Fortville, Pendleton and back to Fishers. The rides are 15, 30, and 56 miles. Each participant will receive one free donut at each location and can participate in a raffle held at 12:00 noon at Jack’s Donuts in Fishers. Riders will pick up one raffle ticket at each donut shop. Bringing them back to Jack’s to enter in the drawing.
All rides originate and end at Jack’s Donuts in Fishers. Turn-by-turn directions will be provided. Helmets are required. Riders must have a wrist band to receive free donuts.
Short Course 15 miles: This is an out and back course to Sunrise Bakery in Fortville. Map Link: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/16552606

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
All riders under the age of 18 must have a signed waiver from a parent or guardian. Participants must be at least 12 years of age to participate in the ride. Participants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
