Intrametco, an Indianapolis-based metal trading company, announced today plans to build a new 20,000 square foot corporate headquarters in Saxony Corporate Campus in Noblesville, Indiana.  The site, which sits on 2 acres of land on the North side of I-69 at Exit 10 on Bergen Boulevard, will break ground in spring 2007.  The contractor selected for the project is The Mattingly Corporation.

Intrametco was started in 1979 by Charles B. Town with a focus on trading nonferrous primary and secondary metal.  Intrametco, a well-financed trading company, has worked with clients worldwide.  Unlike many trading companies, Intrametco welcomes the opportunity to quote unique material.  Some of the general metal types the company specializes in are brass, copper, lead, stainless steel, magnesium, zinc and, most of all, aluminum.

According to Jon Town, Vice President and part owner of Intrametco, the second level of the building will serve as their new offices and the first level will be rented out to several tenants.  “The new building is beautiful with balconies and great views on both levels.  With this amazing new building and great location, our realtor, Resource Commercial Group, feels we won’t have any problems renting out the first level,” says Town.

“This is a positive move for our company,” says Town.  “Many of our employees live within close proximity to Saxony and the new location provides convenient interstate highway access.”

“Intrametco is a tremendous addition to the Saxony Corporate Campus,” says Richard Arnos, President of Republic Development.  “With this announcement, we continue to see enthusiasm and momentum grow at Saxony.”

Saxony is a 725-acre development that spans both sides of I-69 at Exit 10 in Hamilton County, Indiana.  At build-out, this $500 million project is planned to include a mix of corporate office, industrial, retail, entertainment, civic, multi-family and single-family uses, all set within a framework that is home to cutting edge companies, leading retailers and an affluent, highly educated workforce.
