A medical office building will become the second commercial venture in the 450-acre multiuse Saxony Village in east Fishers, joining a church headquarters.

Community Health Network -- which operates four acute-care hospitals, urgent care facilities, home care services and nursing homes -- has bought 25 acres of the parcel.

The building is to open in 2005 and house primary- and specialty-care doctors' offices, medical-imaging services and a laboratory.

Saxony Village, south of I-69 at Olio Road and Greenfield Avenue, is the Fishers piece of 730 acres being developed by Toledo, Ohio-based Republic Development Corp.

Saxony Corporate Campus, slated for hotels, restaurants and offices, comprises 280 acres just north of I-69 in Noblesville.
